About a month ago I traveled, with Oliver and my dear friend Lorna, to many amazing towns in mid-coast Maine.  Lorna and her husband, Alan, are the founders of Waterfall Arts in Belfast, Maine. It’s well worth a visit to their website  www.waterfallarts.org  to check out the many events, classes and exhibitions they arrange for the enhancement and enjoyment of their neighbors and many longtime, art loving  friends. Truly first class experiences for all.

Maine was astonishing. I’d love to live there! There was such a sense of community responsibility. Local organic produce is sold by zany young farmers at markets in most towns I visited. The scenery was breathtaking, over and over and over again!

I visited some charming Independent bookstores to begin what I hope will be  long lasting friendships. Oliver the Overachiever now has a home on their shelves. Please do visit them if you’re in the area and mention that Oliver sent you. You’ll love them!
